Transitions are hard, often when we are in a big transition we are losing something, and with that comes grief. None of us get out of this life without grieving over something we have lost. This could be through a death of someone close to us, divorce, loss of relationships, job loss, loss of our health due to a chronic illness, loss of our hopes and dreams for ourselves, along with many other types of transitions and loss.

Grief & loss is everywhere, and we are all going to go through it at some point, however, when loss lands in our lap, or if multiple losses, known as grief overload, land on us, we understandably have difficulty coping and adapting to our new life.

There is nothing wrong with grieving, it actually just affirms that you are in fact a feeling human being who has lost something that meant a great deal to you.

Not only it is 100% okay not to be okay when you are experiencing a transition, it is expected!
